About Us

Þýðingar.is is a new service built on the solid foundation of an experienced team of translators with extensive experience in professional translation. The aim of Þýðingar.is is to provide detailed information for buyers of translation services and to make it easier for clients to order services to suit their individual needs.

About Us

All communications, whether with clients or internally, are carried out on secure servers located in Iceland and data are backed up for a period going back five years. All translations are done using translation software in a closed system (unless otherwise requested). All documents and communications are immediately deleted if the client so requests.

Confidentiality Arrow right

Þýðingar.is maintains the utmost confidentiality regarding all communication with clients, material received by the company, and inquiries sent to the company, regardless of whether they result in a business relationship. All Þýðingar.is staff have signed a confidentiality agreement (non-disclosure agreement) which remains in force both during and after their employment with Þýðingar.is. The contractors that Þýðingar.is works with also sign a declaration of confidentiality regarding all content they see.
